Table Talks

Each table talk is facilitated by Reva Guimont, a parent of a person with an Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD), and an expert in Person-Centered Thinking. Reva leads the discussions among other professionals, family members, and Individuals with IDD.

These talks are intended to be informational and formative for people working in the IDD space, and people who support individuals with IDD.

Table Talk 1 | Foundations of Belonging

Reva Guimont facilitates a conversation between two mothers, one of whom worked with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and Grant, a man living with Down Syndrome. They find common ground, discuss concerns, and learn more about each other.

Table Talk 2 | Building Bridges

Reva Guimont is joined by other professionals from different types of services for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The group discusses their concerns as providers, and their hopes for the future of services.
